Miracles

Jai Khodiyar

Homeopathy practitioner H.N. Mistry is a Khodiyar bhakt. He practices in Opera house in South Mumbai. Few years back, he came across a 5 year old patient who couldn’t speak since childhood. She was apparently dumb. Her parents tried all sorts of medication, remedies and treatments with various doctors to make her speak but nothing seemed to have worked before someone recommended Dr. Mistry to them.

Dr. Mistry took a hard look at the case only to learn that she had it since her birth which as per the medical science cannot be cured. He gave her medicines. When the parents asked him if she could ever be cured, he said, “I don’t guarantee that but I have faith in Khodiyar Maa. Visit Khodiyar mandir (Vile Parle) once in a month while the course is on, she may be normal soon.” Having heard this, the parents saw some hope at the far end of the tunnel. The family lives in Nasik. They used to travel all the way down from Nasik to Khodiyar Maa’s mandir in Mumbai (Vile Parle) on a Sunday every month. Their kid began to speak in some time. Dr. H.N. Mistry completely attributes this miracle to Maa Khodiyar.

To add to it, the family is non-hindu. They never had to compromise with their religion to be blessed by Khodiyar Maa. The girl has now grown up to become an electrical engineer. Khodiyar Maa can do the impossible.

Mr. Hiralal Jain is a builder/developer in Mumbai. He learnt about Khodiyar Maa from a friend who is a Khodiyar bhakt. The friend once gifted Mr. Jain a photo frame of Khodiyar Maa to be kept in the mandir in his office. The photo frame was slightly bigger than the height of his mandir. Mr. Jain got a new mandir made, which was of double the size of the earlier one to accommodate mataji’s photo frame. Within few months he moved in to a new office 4 times the size of his earlier one. Khodiyar Maa is benevolent beyond what we humans can imagine.

Mr. R.D. Solanki is a Khodiyar bhakt. While he was working in the water department of Bombay municipal corporation, he decided to execute his mother-in-law’s (Khodiyar bhakt) wish of constructing an embankment to the small lake at Tataniya dhara , Rajpara (Bhavnagar). He went there to seek permission from the authorities at Khodiyar mandir but couldn’t quite get through in his procedure.

He came back to Mumbai after being a little disheartened. One day a lady happened to come to his office. She was surprised to see Khodiyar Maa’s pictures all around in Mr. Solanki’s cabin. She realized that he is a Khodiyar bhakt. She introduced herself as one of the trustees at the Rajpara Khodiyar mandir. Mr. Solanki couldn’t believe his luck. He was quick to put his proposal forward to which the lady not only gave permission but also promised full cooperation from the mandir authorities.

Towards the end of conversation, Mr. Solanki asked her about her purpose of landing in to his office. She mentioned that she was in deep trouble. Her Juhu residence had completely lost water supply. Khodiyar Maa is incredible.
